  • Security Operations & Implementation: Assist in designing and deploying SSE (Security Service Edge) solutions, including secure web gateways and Zero Trust (ZTNA) components.
  • Threat Detection & Response: Operate and optimize EDR/XDR platforms to detect and investigate advanced threats.
  • Identity Management: Help manage IAM systems, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), conditional access, and privileged access management.
  • Infrastructure Security: Support the administration of UTM (Unified Threat Management) appliances, including firewalls, IPS/IDS, and VPN features.

Submarine Cable System Engineer (Junior to Global Leadership Track)

As a Systems Engineer at Nichiei International Incorporated, you will be the technical point of contact for our customers, responsible for the entire lifecycle of global submarine cable systems. You will oversee the process from initial design through testing and final installation. We are seeking ambitious engineers to start as founding members in Japan and grow into future business leaders who will eventually lead our upcoming operational hub in India.

[Responsibilities]

You will be responsible for the end-to-end technical management of submarine system projects:

  • Project Initiation: Participate in Bidding activities and support technical requirements for Contracts.
  • System Design & Documentation: Lead the System Design phase and create essential Technical documentation for Customer explanation.
  • Manufacturing & Integration: Oversee the Manufacturing process and conduct System Integration Tests at key facilities (e.g., Kitakyushu Factory).
  • Field Operations: Manage On-board testing, provide On-board technical support, and supervise Installation work.
  • Testing & Commissioning: Execute Comprehensive Exams, Connection tests at terminal stations, and final Commissioning Tests.
